HOW IS REGENERATIVE CELL THERAPY DONE?
Cell transplant treatments vary, depending on your reasons for receiving them. All of the donor cells we use are harvested from specially provided umbilical cords. There are a number of places that these cells can be distributed, including:
- The face
- The scalp
- Injected into the soft tissues
- IV infusion
This treatment can help with facial rejuvenation, hair restoration, erectile dysfunction, and can also be used to improve joint function.
How is Exosome Therapy Done?
Exosome therapy is a nonsurgical, minimally invasive procedure we provide at our Newport Beach, CA office. Your session length will be based on the size of the treatment area and whether or not you are receiving additional treatments along with exosome therapy. During your appointment, we will carefully administer exosomes into the injection sites in your scalp, face, or body using a fine needle. A local anesthetic may also be used to manage your discomfort and ensure your relaxation throughout. As soon as your treatment is complete, you could see some redness and swelling at the injection sites; however, this will diminish after a few days. You will be able to resume your normal activities once you leave our office.
DONOR CELL TREATMENT FAQ
What do regenerative cells accomplish?
When a section of the body has become diseased or injured, umbilical-derived cell therapy can restore function to the affected area. These cells are raw cells within the body that split off to create more cells, which then become regenerative cells themselves or branch off to serve a more specific function. The introduction of these cells into damaged or unhealthy areas of the body can quickly return them to optimal health.
Is it permanent?
The length of the results of donor cell treatments can vary from one patient to another. While some people may experience results that last for the rest of their lives, others may not. In most cases, the results of donor cell therapy will last at least several years.
How many injections are necessary?
The exact number of sessions we will recommend will depend on a number of factors, including the severity of the ailment, the site of the ailment, and the patient's overall health. During your initial consultation, Dr. Allyson Berkey will perform an in-depth analysis of your body and create a custom treatment plan designed specifically for your needs. At this time, she can provide an estimate as to how many sessions you may require.
Exosome Therapy FAQ
How does exosome therapy work?
Exosomes from younger, viable regenerative cells carry important genetic information that helps to rejuvenate and restore older cells. In turn, this can work to correct an overactive immune system and initiate cell-to-cell communication.
Am I a candidate for exosome therapy?
During a thorough consultation at Beyond Regenerative Medicine & Aesthetics, Dr. Allyson Berkey and her team can better determine if you are an ideal candidate for exosome therapy. This treatment can be used for a variety of needs, including to treat hair loss, orthopedic injuries, and certain degenerative diseases. After your consultation, Dr. Berkey will curate a customized treatment plan that best fits your needs.
When can I expect to see results from exosome therapy?
Though results will differ from patient to patient, most individuals can expect to see results within 12 weeks. Additional treatments may also need to be scheduled in order to maintain your results and ensure the best possible outcome.
