During your complimentary skin consult, we will discuss the various options that will serve you best and create a custom strategy to return a youthful glow and radiance to your skin!

OPTION ONE: TRADITIONAL MICRO-NEEDLING

Micro-needling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a cosmetic procedure that involves the use of a specialized device equipped with fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries or punctures in the skin’s surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process, leading to many benefits for the skin.

OPTION TWO: ADVANCED MICRO-NEEDLING WITH EXOSOMES

Micro-needling with exosomes using a “mesogun” or a “meso-injector” is an advanced cosmetic procedure that combines traditional micro-needling with the use of exosomes.  Exosomes are signaling molecules derived from stem cells. In our practice, we simultaneously stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing response using the mesogun loaded with exosomes- leading to collagen and elastin production, improved skin texture, and reduced imperfections like fine lines and scars. In this way, we are able to insert the exosomes deeper into the dermis and boost results. This combination therapy is popular for its ability to heighten the rejuvenating and regenerative effects of traditional micro-needling.

MICRONEEDLING FAQ

How Microneedling Works?

Microneedling is typically performed by a trained skincare professional or dermatologist and involves the following steps:

  1. Preparation: The skin is cleansed, and a topical numbing cream is often applied to minimize any discomfort during the procedure.
  2. Microneedling: The microneedling device is moved over the skin, creating controlled micro-injuries. The depth and density of needle penetration can be adjusted based on the specific treatment goals.
  3. Stimulation of Collagen and Elastin: The micro-injuries trigger the body’s natural healing response, leading to the production of new collagen and elastin. These proteins are essential for skin elasticity, firmness, and overall health.

Benefits of Microneedling

Microneedling offers several potential benefits for the skin, including:

  1. Improved Skin Texture: Microneedling can help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars, leading to smoother and more even skin texture.
  2. Enhanced Skin Elasticity: By stimulating collagen and elastin production, microneedling can improve skin elasticity and firmness, making it appear more youthful.
  3. Minimized Pore Size: Microneedling may lead to reduced pore size and a more refined skin surface.
  4. Scar Reduction: It is often used to improve the appearance of scars, including those from acne, surgery, or injuries.
  5. Hyperpigmentation Reduction: Microneedling can help reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, sunspots, and melasma.
  6. Treatment of Stretch Marks: It is sometimes used to improve the appearance of stretch marks, making them less noticeable.
  7. Collagen Renewal: The procedure promotes the renewal of collagen and elastin, providing long-term benefits to the skin.

How Advanced Micro-needling with Exosomes Works?

  1. Micro-needling with Exosomes: We use a “mesogun” or “mesoinjector” device that injects the exosomes into the skin during the micro-needling process. Some centers only do traditional micro-needling as described above, and then lay the exosome product on top of the skin hoping it will be absorbed.
  2. Science Meets Beauty: In our practice, we simultaneously stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing response using the mesogun loaded with exosomes- leading to collagen and elastin production, improved skin texture, and reduced imperfections like fine lines and scars. In this way, we are able to insert the exosomes deeper into the dermis and boost results. This is an advanced procedure has the potential to provide significant benefits for skin rejuvenation and improvement.
  3. What are Exosomes?: Exosomes are tiny vesicles containing growth factors, cytokines, and other signaling molecules. These bioactive substances play a crucial role in cell-to-cell communication and tissue regeneration.

Advantages of Micro-needling with Exosomes

  1. Enhanced & Extended Regeneration: Exosomes contain growth factors that can enhance the body’s natural regeneration process, further promoting collagen and elastin production over a longer period of time.
  2. Improved Skin Quality: The exosomes help to improve skin quality by increasing skin thickness, firmness, and elasticity.
  3. Reduced Downtime: Some individuals experience reduced downtime and quicker recovery compared to traditional micro-needling, as the exosomes may help accelerate the healing process.
  4. Minimized Fine Lines and Scars: The combination therapy can be particularly effective in reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and scars.
  5. Enhanced Absorption: Micro-needling creates micro-channels in the skin, which may improve the absorption and penetration of exosomes, allowing them to reach deeper skin layers.
  6. Stimulation of Cell Activity: Exosomes are involved in signaling and activating various cell types in the skin, contributing to overall skin health.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

Micro-needling is a powerful tool for improving skin health and addressing various cosmetic concerns. The number of sessions required and the frequency of treatments depend on individual skin conditions and goals, and it’s best to consult with one of our skincare experts to determine the most suitable treatment plan.

Post-Treatment Care Recommendations

After any micro-needling session, it’s essential to follow post-treatment care instructions provided by our  skincare experts. This typically includes avoiding direct sun exposure and using sunscreen to protect the treated skin. Mild redness and sensitivity are common after the procedure but typically subside within a few days.
